Our LED High Bay Fixtures direct the light output to where it is needed. Even without a reflector there is no wasted light emitted.

The directed light output from our LED High Bay's is very efficient as from a source of only 10,000 lumens the total foot-candle below it is equivalent to an HID fixture with a 30,000 lumen source.

With traditional HID Fixtures the reflective housing is crucial to its operation as the HID Bulb itself emits dim light in all directions like a standard household bulb.

During the reflective process a 400 watt HID bulb; even with the best of reflecting surfaces, will lose up to 65% of its light intensity on the objects below it.
